CHOOSE TIGHTS THAT ENHANCE THE DANCE

Dance tight options can seem like a confusing minefield even for a seasoned dancer!

What's the difference between a stirrup, footed or convertible tight?

Is Gloss & Shimmer the same thing?

Professional or Classic tights, which is the better?

Which tights suit my style of dance?

Let's talk about your hosiery hangups

JAZZ/CABARET/LATIN/TAP

Add pizzazz and glamour to your performance with a Gloss or Shimmer Tight (Same/ same )

TIP: Give them a good stretch to loosen the fibres before wearing

OR

Create stunning silhouettes with Fishnet Tights.

TIP: Fishnets can snag easily. Professional fishnets are much stronger and generally last longer

Wear shimmers under fishnets to rock the Taylor Swift or Beyonce look!

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL/

MODERN

Match your legwear to your skin with a barely-there look for a more "earthy" routine or add some drama in black!

Footless and Stirrup styles expose the foot so your feet can feel the floor. Stirrups give the illusion of an extended leg line.

Tip: Always launder your tights in a wash bag on a cold cycle

BALLET

With a discreet hole under the foot, Convertible tights can be worn like a standard tight or rolled up to become footless, for those doing multiple classes one after the other, or ballet dancers who need to access their toes to add padding before pointe work.

TIP: There is also a Professional/Soloist option with no gusset!

Footed styles must be worn with shoes, whether that's Ballet shoes, Tap shoes or Jazz shoes. These are also the most comfortable for children with sensitive toes.
